Apparently Al-Baghdadi was in territory under the auspices of Russian forces in Idlib province of far northwestern Syria (near the Mediterranean) where he killed himself while under attack by U. S. special forces (he detonated his suicide vest), so Russia doesn’t seem to have been working too hard to find Baghdadi, and ISIS reportedly was selling oil to the Turks, but maybe things are changing.
