Technically, the Arabs are Hebrews too because an ancient ancestor of the Arabs was Heber, through his son Joktan who moved south after the Tower of Babel into the Arabian peninsula, his progeny called the Qahtani, while Heber’s son Peleg was ancestral to whom are known as the Hebrews, the Habiru.
