The more the NBA shuns free speech in deference to its very profitable business relationship with communist China, the more NBA fans will be motivated to stay away, and that the “woke” NBA players plead ignorance on the issue in Hong Kong just shows them unprincipled money-grubbers not to be supported by millions of NBA fans in the U. S., so pull the plug, and let’s start the American Basketball League where patriotic players, coaches, and fans can express their disdain for communist tyranny.
