How many professional basketball players would follow patriotic fans in the United States to the new American Basketball League, not dependent on revenue from communist China as is the NBA, rather only on the U. S. fan base and subscriptions to watch the games internationally? The NBA would shift to become a more international league (much in China), while the ABL could dominate the scene in the western hemisphere, perhaps a Super World Championship between the champs of the ABL vs the champs of the NBA (changed to IBA for the International Basketball Association)?
