Today is Bring Your Bible to School Day, so let’s hope millions of students are expressing their faith by bringing their Bibles and discussing with students unfamiliar with the Word, for instance discussing Exodus 20: 11 and Psalm 104: 5-9, that Elohim is not kidding about the history clearly delineated in the book of Genesis, the foundational book of the Word. The Old Testament is certainly a book of history deemed trustworthy by those who have studied it comparatively with the ancient extra biblical records and archaeology, so considering the generations are laid out all the way back to the original pair, Adam and Eve, the Word’s accounting of history is there to be analyzed, to be refuted or confirmed, certainly a good intellectual exercise in critical thinking for students and teachers alike.
