If the Democrats in D. C. really are intent on drawing-up impeachment charges against president Trump soon, then why did they go on vacation for two weeks, and why haven’t they voted to begin a formal impeachment hearing in the first place? Secretary of State Mike Pompeo probably won’t be coming to Capitol Hill to testify (about Giuliani’s investigative work on the Ukraine witch hunt) because there’s not yet a legal impeachment inquiry, so the Democrats lack of seriousness on this shows that they intend to drag the impeachment talk on up to the 2020 elections, their only hope since their legislative initiatives are losers and they have nowhere else to turn, boding very well for Trump’s reelection.
