At the U. N., president Trump told the delegates at the religious freedom conference that 80% of the world’s population suffers religious persecution, which as everyone knows is predominantly in North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (including India where Christians are treated harshly by the Hindus), announcing a business/government partnership to battle against religious persecution around the world. The people of Islam and Hinduism have difficulty accepting the Christians among them, which will change if a person’s religious freedom will be paramount for civil society.
