Because hurricane Dorian has not moved much for the last two days (pinched between two high pressure systems), it has sapped the warm surface water in the area, now cooler water at the surface, the hurricane losing strength as a result, but if the steering currents move the storm back over warmer water, it will regenerate greater power, so let’s hope it doesn’t move, to just peter-out instead.
