It was upon the apostle Peter’s faith, “this rock,” that Jesus said he would build his church of born again believers, not that Peter himself was the rock as opined by the Roman Catholics, their thinking wrong particularly when you consider that Peter never preached in Rome, having preached instead mostly to Jews in the region of the Holy Land, thus it’s ironically pathetic that the Vatican doesn’t show more due support for Israel in her struggle against Islam.
