Had Adam and Eve eaten from the Tree of Life (in the center of the Garden of Eden) after they had eaten from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, then their eternal life would be suffered in hell, having chosen their life to be in their fallen state, separated from Elohim, so He drove them out of the Garden, that they can eat of the Tree of Life in heaven when the time comes.
