The Canaanite language spoken for instance by the Amorites and Sinites was though a Semitic language of Shem’s progeny, apparently learned by Canaan (a son of Ham) perhaps from a Hebrew wife (maybe a daughter of Heber) shortly after the Tower of Babel. The Vasconic languages (such as Basque) of the western Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic show commonalities with the “Canannite” language spoken by such as the Amorites and Sinites, their consonantal lettering system from the Hebrews too.
