Today president Trump rightly put the onus on Congress to draft some constructive legislation to help prevent potential mass murderers from ever getting to that point, by flagging-systems on social media accounts and local law enforcement prepared to interview those suspected of planning mass murder or other serious crimes. Trump also roundly denounced white supremacism, again, so it’s time Congress acts, yet they’re off for a month, a tradition since the days when there was no air conditioning.
