There is no law that U. S. presidents should not actively participate in the July 4th festivities celebrating Independence Day in Washington D. C., so why did the previous presidents not want to do this, maybe because their hearts weren’t in it nearly as much as Trump’s clearly is, and do you suppose any future Democrat president would follow Trump’s successful patriotic lead?
