With all the hubbub about the supposed structural racism in the U. S., just remember the hundreds of thousands of Union soldiers (almost all white) who died to free the black slaves over a hundred fifty years ago, the knowledge of which seems to have escaped the leftists bent on racial strife. Remember too that president Abraham Lincoln was a Republican as was Martin Luther King a century later, and now president Trump who has done more for blacks since Lincoln did during the Civil War.
