The ancient Chinese knew that Fusang was 20,000 li to the east across the Pacific, which is almost 7,000 nautical miles, the distance from China (named for the Sinites) to America (named for the Amorites), so the term li or league for three nautical miles was apparently a Canaanite term of distance used by the Atlanteans as well as the Chinese of that day.
