Fox News’ regular Catholic contributor father Jonathan Morris has quit the priesthood, saying he never really liked it beginning in seminary where though he continued on for fear of letting down the people who were supporting and encouraging him, now 25 years later finally bowing out. The talented Morris says he’ll be in the Catholic pew going forward, but having not thought the best of Catholicism for 25 years, shouldn’t he consider preaching only from the words in the New Testament not with the Catholic add-ons which have caused such dismay in his life, perhaps still in need of becoming born again?
