Just as the longitude lines are counted east or west from the Prime Meridian which goes through Greenwich, England, anciently it must have been the longitude line through the Great Pyramid of Giza, aligned precisely to true north therefore necessarily having required timekeeping, anciently by the precession rate of the earth’s axis, 72 years/degree (see Page at right Great Pyramid for Navigation).
