Atlantis was a bronze age civilization according to Plato, with ships for transoceanic navigation, its center the city of Posidon and his son Atlas which Plato wrote was just beyond the Mediterranean sea described as just a harbor compared to the great ocean to the west (the Atlantic), so south of Cadiz is the logical location for the submerged city of Atlas (and Posidon), Maxine Asher that it’s perhaps thirty miles to the south of Cadiz on the seafloor about a hundred feet down, submerged since circa 1500 b. c.
