In the current political environment of the U. S., with president Trump’s agenda kicking into high gear, conservative firebrand and lightening rod Roy Moore need not worry that a Tea Party type will not oppose the Democrat Doug Jones in the 2020 Alabama senatorial election if he (Moore) decides to stay on the sidelines, so if he really is a principled man caring most about his Country (next to Elohim), he should stay out of the Republican primary race as president Trump has requested.
