Pope Francis is now saying that the clergy worldwide must report all sexual misconduct past and present, plus all the coverups, yet why has the Catholic church waited many decades to do this, and considering their history, does anybody really expect them to follow through in any meaningful sort of way? This sad situation has been ongoing for so long because the Catholic hierarchy has more valued the sexual appetites of its clergy than the well-being of the children under the clergy’s care.
