It’s hard to imagine Joe Biden surviving the Democrat primaries against his nearly two dozen opponents (and Trump’s backers also) out to get him, and it was probably very hard for Biden himself to imagine that he would survive that gauntlet, so he decided to run that people wouldn’t say he was scared, seen by many Democrats as their only hope to defeat the president, but Gropin’ Joe’s heart is just not in it.
