Israel Finkelstein says that drastic climate change (much diminished rainfall) ended the bronze age circa 1300 b. c., while Harvey Weiss says the climate change was circa 2200 b. c., one or the other wrong on the dating. Finkelstein is correct, the end of the Ice Age circa 1500 b. c. confirmed by his scholarship that by circa 1300 b. c., the hoarding of grain and thereby warfare were commonplace.
