There is plenty of snow and ice at the poles which if completely melted would raise sea level a few hundred vertical feet, almost all of that snow and ice remained from the Ice Age, so why did it not melt away when the Ice Age ended? The answer is obvious, it’s extremely cold at the poles (so technically deserts), but during the Ice Age, the skies were packed with clouds, because the ocean was uniformly warmer (in the aftermath of Noah’s Flood) which caused much greater evaporation for that extensive cloud cover of the Ice Age, ended when the ocean had cooled to about today’s temperatures.
