Beto says his favorite book is The Odyssey by Homer, the story of Ulysses’ adventures at sea after the Trojan War, yet Ulysses saw non-Greek speakers as barbarians (such as the Berbers of North Africa), the Greek snobbishness well-known, what Beto Crazy Hands would call a racially exclusive attitude.
