In the ancient Frisian book Oera Linda, it’s noted that the land lost to the sea (when the Ice Age ended) was called Aldland meaning old land by the farmers and hunters, Atland by the seafarers, a different meaning, the land of Atlas, which Plato wrote extended outside the Pillars of Hercules as well as within.
