All of the North Sea except the Norwegian Trench (the inlet of deep Atlantic water arching along the southern tip of Norway) was land during the Ice Age, where dredged from the seafloor have been discovered lion and mammoth bones, evidence of wheat growth, stone tools, and even string, during the Ice Age, when because of the warmer ocean (after Noah’s Flood), the land near the ocean shoreline was temperate, with forests, streams, marshes, and pastures, the land know as Atland in the Frisian book Oera Linda, an historical account of the end of the Ice Age.
