Perhaps anticipating that a socialist such as Crazy Bernie Sanders will be the Democrats’ nominee for president, Team Trump may be tempted to moderate policy positions to hopefully gain the support of patriotic Democrats who can’t go open borders and government control of the economy, but those Democrats will have little problem voting for Trump in 2020, for school choice, secure borders, and great trade deals, reassured by his two years to date of great performance.
