Greece received much more rainfall for crops twice a year and huge stands of forests during the days that the “Athenians” were at war with the empire of Atlantis to the west, according to Plato, who also wrote that in his day, huge timbers of buildings from those days were still seen in Greece. Confirming this are over 300 “bronze age” settlements built on streams in Greece which went dry when the Ice Age ended, when Atlantis and much of Greece were consumed by the sea. The etymological root of the word year is hora in Greek, the same root of the word hour, thus when Plato wrote that Atlantis was 9,000 years before Solon’s day (circa 600 b. c.), it meant segments of time, non-specific, in this case though lunar time, 9,000 lunar cycles before Solon’s encounter with the Egyptian priests at Sais.
