Elohim decided to introduce himself in the book of Genesis, the foundational book of the Word, by that name Elohim rather than Yahweh, so that everybody from Adam and Eve onward would know that the Creator is multifaceted, Father, Son, and Spirit, that He could later call Himself “I am” (Yahweh) knowing that the people already knew He is multifaceted (Father, Son, and Spirit), Jesus the Messiah.
