Ashoka Tripathi of the University of Calcutta, using remote sensing devices, has detected the ruins of ancient buildings beneath a mile of ice on Antarctica, built during the time that the ancient source maps for the medieval Oronteus Finneus and Piri Reis maps were drawn, before the snow had built up deeply, near the beginning of the Ice Age circa 2100 b. c. Mainstream scientists are flummoxed by this finding (why you probably haven’t heard about it), because they are forced to say that the last time Antarctica was free of snow and ice was tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of years before ancient transoceanic navigation to remote locations such as on the landmass of Antarctica was possible.
