You can imagine Kim Jong-Un having seen the pathetic Michael Cohen hearings ongoing while he was negotiating with Trump and then deciding that it’s weakness which Trump would want to mitigate by signing almost any piece of paper at the summit in Vietnam, including all sanctions to be lifted, a very bad calculation, yet would things have been different if the Democrats in Congress had been patriotic enough to delay the Cohen hearings until after the summit in Vietnam?
