Funding for more strategic border fencing naturally will be coming from the Department of Defense, to defend the U. S. southern border; $3.5 billion from the construction budget of the DoD and $2.5 billion from the drug interdiction budget, which with some $600 million from the Treasury Department’s drug forfeitures, and the $1.375 billion in the border security bill, will enable Trump to finish that wall, or at least move along well until new Congressional budgetary outlays in September.
