The vast sedimentary layers composing much of the geologic column were laid down in water, it was the ocean up on the continents, dozens of times through hundreds of millions of years say the wishful uniformitarians, yet they have no reasoning about why the ocean would rise up onto the continents to deposit those vast sedimentary layers, what would be the impetus?
