CNN is reporting that president Trump has requested ostensibly “moderate” Democrats to come to the White House to hash things out, then persuade Nancy that enough’s enough. For all or most of those Democrats to merely accept Trump’s invitation would be a thumb in Nancy’s eye, the dam cracking. (Update: those Democrats declined the invitation, surely unpopular in their home districts which may vote Republican in 2020 in protest of the Democrats’ recalcitrance.)
