The last thing the establishment types want is for the Democrats to grant Trump the billions of dollars needed for southern border barriers, so the plan now is to bait the president into declaring the border a national emergency (which of course would become tied-up in court) because the establishment types know that Chuck and Nancy are on the verge of cracking under the public pressure.
