The Democrats won their majority in the House by gaining more seats in suburban districts in the 2018 midterm elections, not in the rural areas dotted with small and large towns, because the Republican party is now the party of the lower-to-middle income earners, whose wages and investments are ever growing under president Trump’s America First agenda, boding well for his reelection.
