Today at his press conference after meeting with Chuck and Nancy about funding for border security fence, president Trump said the Democrats prefer steel slat fencing over concrete wall, the steel slats made with U. S. steel, the president adding that he’s optimistic a resolution will be achieved within a week or so, but if not, that he’ll continue waiting for the funding as long as necessary, even for a year.
