In order to try to explain why it rained much more in areas now desert during “the bronze age.” the uniformitarians say that for eight thousand years following “the Pleistocene” (the Ice Age), it was much rainier in the middle latitudes, but the snowfall for “the Pleistocene” was by much more cloud cover off the ocean clearly warmer, which applied also to the middle latitudes where of course it rained much more and snowed at the higher elevations at the same time as all the snowfall in the extreme latitudes, the Ice Age which ended circa 1500 b. c. at the time of the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt.
