The people who elected Trump did so in-no-small-part because he said that he’d secure the southern border before talking about legalizing the illegals already here, therefore, president Trump should stand firm on his request for the $5.7 billion (settling on $5 billion), even vetoing anything short of that which would be passed by the House and Senate, looking ahead to 2020 when many of the House and Senate members who will have opposed such funding will be voted out.
