While somewhat compelling arguments can be made about why illegal aliens should not be ejected from the Country, the illegal aliens should never be granted voting rights and therewith U. S. citizenship because they thought so little of the laws of the United States that they chose to come in illegally rather than going through proper legal channels, so work permits are just fine.
