The Chinese government issued a statement today that president Trump is not naive in assuming China will do what was agreed-to in Buenos Aires, Xi having agreed to lower tariffs on imported U. S. soybeans and natural gas, the other issues still be discussed (intellectual property theft and forced sharing), with the possibility at the end of the 90 days (now about 80) that U. S. tariffs on Chinese imports will go from 10% up to 25%, so intense benefit/cost analyses are ongoing in Beijing.
