Today Chris Wallace was whining to Trump about the president’s having stated the fact that fake news is the enemy of the people, Wallace saying he is offended by that, to which Trump said he’s not the fake news, rather such as from CNN and MSNBC. Wallace then asked the president why he feels compelled to be so mean, to which Trump replied (in so many words) that tough talk and mockery, ridicule and hyperbole are needed to shatter the Democrats’ cozy arrangement with the establishment media.
