Ohio Legislature Passed Heartbeat Law Vetoed by John Kasich But Will Be Signed by New Governor DeWine


A majority of Ohio’s state legislators decided that a tiny child in the womb whose heartbeat has begun registering is off-limits for abortion, usually at six or seven weeks of the mother’s pregnancy, that bill vetoed by John Kasich (who thinks he can beat president Trump in the 2020 Republican primaries), but Mike DeWine is the governor now who will sign it into law.
