For different reasons, the Democrats and the establishment Republicans don’t like the fact that the wages of U. S. workers are rising, the Democrats because it means fewer people dependent on welfare, the Republicans because the profit margins of their businesses can be lessened, yet president Trump’s policy for much greater oil production is causing price stabilization of fuel at relatively low levels, which of course is a boon to the bottom lines of most businesses, while the Democrats see no benefit in any of this, wanting U. S. oil production reduced for higher prices to hurt businesses and consumers.
