The only nation which could claim original heritage in the Holy Land before the Israelis would be the Canaanites (the Philistines/Palestinians controlled not much more than the Gaza Strip), the Canaanites who were routed by Joshua’s army for the Israelites to take the land circa 1400 b. c., but who traces their ancestry back to the Canaanites, maybe through Ancestry.com?
