Perhaps half of the Democrats think that “birth tourism” and “anchor babies” are bad ideas, not intended in the 14th Amendment, so those Democrats should consider that the problem will not be effectively addressed short of legislation from Congress to do the job, which is why hopefully most of them will vote Republican this time around, because the Democrat legislators won’t touch it.
