So-called birthright citizenship was begun in the 1960’s, not by Congress rather by bureaucratic fiat, so the case to be made is clear to remove that “right,” that before the bureaucratic fiat, citizenship to those born of illegal aliens was not allowed, for about 100 years, according to the 14th Amendment.
