Although Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, embarrassed after their sin to gain the knowledge of evil with the good, probably wanted to cover their realized nakedness (maybe with leaves), Elohim stepped in to begin the “scarlet thread” through the Old Testament by slaying an animal for its skin to cover the first couple, that skin accepted by the duo in faith that Elohim’s promised salvation by it was true.
