Unless a Single Shot or Bolt Action Rifle is Not Usable to Assault Someone the Term Assault Weapon is Foolish Trope

If only semi-automatic rifles are “assault weapons,” then what is a single shot or bolt action rifle, just cotton candy? So the use of that term, if not for all weapons, is drama-queen stupid.
