CBF’s legal team wants her testimony to be heard on Thursday only because it’s the earliest date which would preclude Kavanaugh from being confirmed in time for the fall session of the Supreme Court, and if that would be achieved, of course the Democrats would say that there’s no rush for his confirmation, plenty of time for investigation of him, until the deadline before the next session of the Supreme Court in the spring. Today Grassley said Wednesday would be acceptable, not Thursday, he knows what’s up.
